Like Djoser, Sekhemkhet's final resting place was to be a step pyramid at Saqqara, but since he died only after six years of rule it was never finished. Using measurements of the base upon which the pyramid would have been built, it is estimated that Sekhemkhet's step pyramid would've been one step greater and about 30 feet taller than Djoser's.
